If you are on the Business and Partner plans the report will also detail site development that has been carried out.
Your entire site will be backed-up off-server each night. Backups include all the site files and also the database.
Software updates include theme updates, plugins updates and WordPress core updates.
We run a “safe update” policy whereas if any given update has a detrimental effect on the site we will roll it back and suggest a course of action.
Our site uptime monitor checks your site every minute of every day and sends an alert should your site become unavailable. Your site uptime statistics are included in your monthly report.
The worst thing about malware is that it could be on your website for months without you even noticing. We check your site regularly for malware and known vulnerabilities and report to you as soon as a problem is detected.
The site performance scan gives you essential information into what is happening with your website and how it’s performing.
It gives you a breakdown of any factors affecting your website performance. You can see each individual factor and its grade, as well as giving you recommendations on how to improve your website performance.
Up to two hours of development time. This can be used to fix rogue themes or plugins or to make improvements your site.
*Please note that time included is for a WordPress developer and does not include design, branding etc. Any unused time cannot be rolled over to subsequent months and must be used on the website that the plan has been taken out for.
Ad-hoc development is charged at £75+VAT per hour. If you are a Moonshine WordPress Support customer you will receive 10% discount on any additional development hours required on your existing website.
We will assess your current plugins and make recommendations if we feel your site could benefit with an alternative. In addition, if new plugins come to market that we feel you will benefit from, we will include information on these in your monthly report.
Having a slow site will hurt you. We install, optimise and maintain the best speed boosting plugin(s) for your website. There are many versions on the market, we will assess and implement the best solution for your site.
No, all our support plans run from month to month.
Generally we will start your plan within two working days.
The first thing we do is set up your backups, these will then run each and every night and stored away from your hosting account encase anything happens to the server your site is on.
Next we run a malware and virus scan to ensure your site is not in any danger. We then turn our attention to your themes and plugins.
Occasionally, updating a theme, plugin or the WordPress core will cause your website to either stop working or throw up an issue.
We run checks after every update and if an issue is detected we will roll back that update and report our findings to you together with possible solutions.
